Sam Sulam is a director, photographer, and editor based in New York City. His nonfiction work has taken him into deported military veterans' communities in Mexico, the underground hip hop scene in Paris, and the cypher circuit in New York.
He started as an art director at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, where his campaigns won a Cannes Lion, a One Show pencil, a Webby, and a Clio. He left advertising to direct commercials, music videos, and branded content, and in 2022 was named a finalist for ADC Young Guns.
He's directed for Quavo, Lil Baby, Tate McRae, Kidsuper, and Diplo. His documentary END OF TUNNEL was featured by Booom TV and Nowness, and won Best Documentary at the Nighthawk Arts Festival.
